old school ksubi

Looking through old archives of past Ksubi collections remind me of many expensive wants as a 15 year old. It also makes me miss the old Ksubi, before the whole "almost bankruptcy" ordeal and before they became "affordable".

The tshirts in the pictures above are the reason why i love intergalactic/surrealist designs and oversized tops. They were made out of silk so you can bet they were expensive. $350 to be exact. Did i ever get them? No. But it left me inspired and intrigued like a true fashion label should.

It's true that Ksubi made an "affordable" line where tshirts now start around $80 at General pants. Do these tshirts have the same expensive feeling, quality and inspirational aurora that Ksubi work hard for years to create? No. Its a watered down Ksubi designed to appeal to the masses.

But i guess you still get the same tag on the inside....
